SPECIAL EVENTS AND ON-PREMISE PROMOTIONS

MANAGING DISTRIBUTOR RELATIONS & TRAINING

  • Act as the local management team/brand ambassador for our producers.
  • Ensure our brands are "top of mind" and get the best attention from our distributors.
  • Manage allocations and depletions with distributors.
  • Sales Training: Conduct important sales kick-off presentations ensure that each sales associate has a keen understanding of the brands.
  • Sales Materials: Create and provide customized selling materials for each distributor team from tech sheets, shelf talkers, and posters.
  • In Market Account Presentations: Work with each distributor sales team appropriately for scheduled market visits to work with sales teams to build in-market product placements. 
  • Traditional Sales Targets: Focus on premium independent off-premise and upscale/top tier on-premise accounts (restaurants, wine bars, hotels, and traditional bars, clubs, etc.).
  • Sales Support via Event Marketing: Create cost efficient, out-of-the-box activities (sponsorships, events, cause-related tie-ins, celebrity associations, etc.)           to generate awareness, leverage credibility and positive brand associations not only with consumers and but also those that excite the trade and the          sales teams.
  • Niche Marketing and Sampling: Participate in industry and account specific events that drive trial and appeal to important segments of the brand's target audience (Affluent Wine & Spirits Enthusiasts, "Hip" Seniors, DINKs, Early Adapters, etc. to generate maximum levels of "product pull".
  • Social Media: Use selected, low cost/no-cost tactics (Viral Marketing, Friend-to-Friend, etc.) to generate marketplace "Brand Buzz".

TARGET SALES & MARKETING

  • Advise and assist in the negotiation and execution of any/all approved US marketing, PR, and promotion events.
  • Select and recommend appropriate US advertising, PR campaigns, sales, and marketing plans.
  • When appropriate, create measurable, definable, sales/marketing programs designed to motivate distributor sales teams for short and long-term.
  • Make recommendations on suggested pricing.
